SOLE’s Seasonal Experience SM program is purposefully designed and executed for outdoor professionals and backcountry leaders; outdoor or traditional educators; or outdoor enthusiasts and families looking for professional training or an interpretive guided adventure. Each program offering is engaging and rigorous, and can be custom-tailored to address your specific needs!

Because we want to ensure a high quality experience for participants, SOLE Seasonal Experiences SM immerse individuals in relevant experiential learning opportunities which are underpinned by our partners, including but not limited to:

As a Leave No Trace (LNT) partner and provider SOLE offers LNT curriculum throughout the organization programs and various LNT stand-alone course offerings including, LNT Awareness Workshops and Trainer Workshops. These SOLE offering combines various courses to save you money, while providing comprehensive and intensive training to ensure that you don’t venture off without the necessary skills to respond when necessary!  SOLE’s prove partnerships with leading outdoor professionals and industry leaders utilize evidence-based methods and practices, coupled with current research to ensure that you are up to date with the most current protocols and procedures.

We rotate and blend outdoor workshops through the year to give you a diverse selection of programming options.


Winter Hybrid Experience (Wilderness First Aid + Avalanche Rescue)


FULLY prepare for the unexpected.  This SOLE Experience will allow you to fully prepare for a rescue in avalanche terrain.  Many avalanche education courses just develop the emergency response skills to locate and remove the buried victim.  This course will allow you to deepen your knowledge and provide a wilderness medicine component that will allow to develop the skills so you can provide reasonable and prudent treatment for your patient when responding.  Please read the links above to read specific course descriptions for each course offering.
