Fieldwork Experience | SnowSchool Experience | Avalanche Awareness

Offered at SOLE’s Mountain Field Campus at Schweitzer, SOLE’s SnowSchool Experience programs are the perfect opportunity to explore and learn in (and about) your winter wildlands!   From intentional K-12 in-school experiential education programs that are designed to address and develop STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) literacy to fun and engaging out-of-school programs that develop sound outdoor living and travel skills like avalanche awareness, these SOLE Experiences are a perfect way for  youth to have a whole lot of fun while they unplug and get outdoors during the long winters that we experience here in the mountainous Inland Northwest.  Each program is unique and can be custom-tailored to, individual, grade level, and specific group needs.  Options include, but are not limited to, formal on campus presentations on the avalanche phenomena and snow science, as well as STEM Camps and visits to SOLE’s Mountain Field Campus for formal fieldwork sessions.
