Develop transformational leadership skills in a novel manner.
During this outdoor leadership day camp participants 10-12 years old head out on the trail or water for (5) consecutive days where they will engage in adventure-based and service-learning activities with their peers. There, they will learn firsthand what our local community and environmental needs are providing them with the opportunity to develop outdoor skills, and their own wildland ethic. With our LEAD SM curriculum serving as the foundation, participants are able to gain confidence as they lead their peers to accomplish project-related goals and objectives, as well as, hone their newly found outdoor skills.
All programs are purposefully designed year-to-year, so parents can rest assured that each session is fresh and exciting. SOLE will provide transportation to and from our site locations each day from our drop off and pick up location (TBD). Participants will receive further information in their Parent Packet upon registering.
